My Verdict

Before I say anything, I just want to let you know that I cried at the end of Bling Lagosians. Not even the pizza at Cartege Cinemas could console me. Bling Lagosians deserved my tears. There were lots of lessons to be learned from this movie. It was funny, the soundtracks were lit, the actors were amazing, there was lots of shimmer, shine, glamour and bling everywhere, and Alex Ekubo’s Igbo accent while playing the role of Nnamdi was loved by all.It truly spoke of it’s title, Bling Lagosians.Bling Lagosians taught us how important it is to live within your means; What it’s like to have everything today and wake up with nothing tomorrow morning; How dangerous it is to ‘keep up appearances’; And lastly, to watch our circle of friends.Oh! Before I forget, there are end credit scenes too. Don’t leave the cinema until the last on.For me, the climax of the movie was the phone call between Iya Oloja and Akin Holloway.”If we crash, do we sink into the ground like water?” Iya Oloja asked him.Akin replied, “No! WE RISE!”You will thank me when you watch this movie.
